Medina has a very informal café vibe - great coffee, Chinese loose teas a fully licensed bar and everything inbetween is served alongside delicious fresh food from breakfast through to the evening.  The keyword truly is fresh and if you go along you'll immediately see why. Upon entering you are greeted with a wonderful display of vibrant salads all made from scratch daily. The menu has Middle Eastern influences using spices such as Za'atar, sumac & Ras el hanout. Bread is baked daily on the premises along with all the cakes.  The space is light, contemporary and very relaxed. You are welcome to call in just for a coffee & cake or perhaps a glass of wine and some mezze. There is a small courtyard at the rear with a playhouse for children.  As if that isn't enough, everything is also available to take away. You can get a box full of fresh food to go for as little as £5.00 consisting of as many salads as you like together with a special from the board which changes regularly but might include lamb koftas with mint yoghurt, falafel with chilli jam or pan fried king prawns with garlic, lemon & sumac. With an off license as well you can get a really healthy, fresh take away, a bottle of wine and a homemade dessert all from the same place - ideal for those nights we all have where we don't feel like cooking but want to eat something good!
