Fishguard International Music Festival

Instrumental, chamber, choral and orchestral music fills the quaint coastal town. Numerous venues are involved in this annual bash, including local churches, school halls, hotels and the wonderful St David's Cathedral.

This year's event celebrates the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams and Oliver Messiaen. Performers include Peter Donohoe, the National Youth Brass Band of Wales, the John S Davies Singers with organist Alexander Mason, the ESO winds with narrator Janet Suzman, the Innovation Chamber Ensemble (CBSO Strings), the City of Birmingham Symphony Quartet, the St Petersburg String Quartet and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
