So close to the sea it gets cut off on a Spring Tide – a wonderfully unspoilt coastal pub
With its proximity to the Pembrokeshire coastal path, the Old Point House really is the perfect hostelry to plan a long walk around. The scenery around here is dramatic and the pub itself is a rugged whitewashed building sitting in dramatic isolation on the shoreline. Inside there is a feel of real authenticity and a history that encompasses centuries of use as an inn providing sustenance for local mariners.
As one would hope, there’s little standing on ceremony here, just a warm welcome, well-kept beers and a selection of honest food and generous food ideal for those coming in from a trek around the coast. One of those special, unspoilt places that are increasingly hard to find.
