Award winning cottage hideaway in the Vale of Usk

Tucked away in the beautiful countryside above the River Usk is Vanilla Cottage. It’s a romantic 19th century stone built cottage that has been lovingly restored to provide five star self-catering accommodation. It took its first visitors in 2003 and less than a year later was the recipient of a prestigious Wales Tourist Board Best Places to Stay in Wales award.

Sleeping three in a double and single bedroom, guests will be able to enjoy traditional style comfort including a four poster bed and antique furniture. They will also be able to relax in front of the wood burning stove and modern entertainment systems.

The cottage is an ideally situated as a base for exploring the Brecon Beacons, Vale of Usk and Wye Valley, nearby golf courses and fishing.  Or, if you prefer something closer to home, there is a pub just 300 yards away, and even closer still, the cottage has a suntrap of garden to relax in.
