Fly fishing for the environmentally conscious angler

Carnguwch is part of the Organig Parc eco complex. The lake was created in 1999 from the water in the farm’s own mountainside spring. This means the water in the lake is beautifully clear and mineral laden and provides a rich source of food for the organic rainbow trout that live there. The food from the lake itself is not supplemented with any other. So the trout here are as natural as they can be. And they taste fantastic.

The lakeside has been beautifully landscaped and is an idyllic setting for fishing. It’s perfect for fly fishermen of all abilities, from beginners through to expert. The lake offers two kinds of fishing, ‘catch and release’ or if you fancy landing yourself something for dinner, ‘catch and keep.’
