Tucked away in the heart of St Davids is Ty Gwilym Cottage. A delightful three bedroomed property within easy walking distance of the local shops, restaurants and pub. Originally the cottage was part of a farm and its associated buildings, but it has been converted with families in mind to create an ideal spacious place to stay for up to five. But all that traditional original rustic charm is still there. It’s all helped by the large south-west facing sun trap of a garden which overlooks the cathedral and the surrounding countryside.
It all makes for an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast, especially as the cottage has that most unusual thing in St Davids – off street parking. Or if you’re made of sterner stuff, the coastal path is only a ten minute walk away and the local beaches, Whitesands and Caerfai, a 30 minute stroll.
