The concerts are open-air, so visitors are advised to wear warm clothing and, although refreshments are provided on-site, to feast on summer picnics.
This year's festival opens with Girls Aloud, Jamelia and Shayne Ward and continues with Bryn Terfel's opera gala featuring Ramon Vargas, Carlos Alvarez, Rebecca Evans, Christine Rice and Gareth Jones. The third night sees Michael Ball and Ruthie Henshall singing favourite numbers from the world of musicals and the festival closes with a night of the best in Welsh rock and pop.
