Nick Priestland’s other love (besides good food – see Cors Restaurant) is his garden. Translated from the Welsh, Cors, means bog or marsh and as these grounds are surrounded by streams on all sides, one can see how damp, often humid conditions prevail.

The garden’s design makes the most of the rare setting, with its 2.5 acres of architectural features, ponds, sculptures, unusual plants, bamboos and tree ferns. There is real flair in the design and a special feeling of being quite remote and isolated from the rest of the town of Laugharne.
