An alternative kind of holiday cottage – environmentally aware, but luxurious too
Trer Ceiri is one of three holiday cottages in the converted stable block at Organig Parc. Architect designed, the cottage blends eco friendly principles with five star luxury including TV/DVD and wireless Broadband access in all rooms.
The three bedrooms, sleeping six, including master en-suite, have specially commissioned Snowdonia wool carpets, organic sheets and towels. At the heart of the kitchen stands an Aga Rayburn cooker providing cosy background heat and hot water and granite worktops house low energy appliances. Marble tiles line the bathroom walls and a wood burning stove provides warmth in the beautifully appointed welsh oak floored lounge.
The Organic painted stylish interior is adorned with paintings and limited edition prints and elegant fabrics and furnishings accentuate the original character of the cottage. Trer Ceiri own private walled and timbered patio commands magnificent views of the Lake, Llyn Peninsula and Cardigan Bay.
Organic Parc’s eco friendly cottages are designed to experience all the benefits of 21st century style and comfort with due respect to the environment. Organig Parc itself is situated at the heart of the Llyn Peninsula on a 300 acre organic farm in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has its own mountain, river valley, organic trout lake, ancient church and spectacular views.
The grounds were designed by Julian Dowle Partnership, winner of a RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold medal. Attention to detail ensures that top quality furnishings and fittings blend in with the traditional character of the cottages creating a homely atmosphere for a relaxing and enjoyable year round destination. In recognition Visit Wales has awarded the cottages their top grade of 5 Stars
