Church Bay is one of the most beautiful spots on the incredibly scenic island of Anglesey. Mor Gwyn is perched just up the hill and it is a short walk to the beach that is one of the area’s best and enjoys Blue Flag status. As one might hope and expect the cottage has outstanding views across the sea and the French windows of the generously sized kitchen open out onto a decked terrace area that is an idyllic place to eat al fresco.

The place is beautifully designed, contemporary but using traditional materials with a wealth of slate and oak and with every room making the most of the fantastic vistas available. The relaxing and comfortable lounge has doors opening on to a lovely roof terrace which is an invitation to sit and relax and enjoy the views, but should you feel in need of entertainment there is a flat screen TV and a DVD player. The bedrooms are similarly well-equipped and include a master bedroom with a quite stunning bathroom featuring slate tiles and a dramatic centrally located bath.

Walkers can gain direct access onto the Anglesey Coastal Path at Church Bay, which features 125 miles of diverse coastal scenery. All of Anglesey’s many attractions are in easy reach,, not least Swtan, a thatched crafting longhouse in Church Bay which has been completely restored to give a fascinating insight into 19th Century life.
