Enclosed in its own large garden Tegfryn Cottage is tucked away in a tranquil farmland setting with lovely views over the countryside towards the coast. It’s just a couple of miles from here to Lligwy one of Anglesey’s loveliest beaches and nearby Moelfre is the place to join the Anglesey Coastal footpath. The 19th Century cottage is a treasure – formerly the lodge to the farming estate it has been renovated with sympathy for its historic character but also to offer modern comforts to the visitor.

Styled with a mix of antiques and contemporary furnishings the cottage offers a cosy lounge with a fire and welcome touches like the provision of books, games, Freeview and DVD player. The three tastefully decorated bedrooms with wrought iron bedsteads and antique furnishings are luxurious and an invitation to relax. On the culinary front, guests can take advantage of a really spacious contemporary kitchen diner and the whole package is topped off by a top quality family bathroom with a power shower.

This is a terrific headquarters from which to explore the unspoilt island of Anglesey and the rest of North Wales with all that the region has to offer in terms of dramatic scenery, Welsh history and culture, beaches and attractions like Anglesey Sea Zoo and the Butterfly Palace.
