We need to say straight away that you don’t have to be a golfer to appreciate Trefloyne. Yes, it’s part of a testing 18-hole parkland golf complex and close to another, very different venue at Tenby, the oldest links course in Wales.
But golfers aren’t the only happy guests. Trefloyne offers superb accommodation in spacious, tastefully refurbished rooms bathed in light, dressed with warm fabrics and finished with a pleasing contemporary simplicity. Even the non-golfers amongst you will love the views of the course and ancient woodland.
Trefloyne, run by brother and sister Tom Beynon and Sarah Knight, also serves up good, wholesome food in its Terrace restaurant and bar. It’s in a tranquil spot, yet is just a five-minute drive from popular Tenby and south Pembrokeshire’s sandy coastline. So pack the bucket and spade as well as the golf clubs.
