This beautiful Welsh-stone cottage was carefully restored using traditional materials by the sculptor David Williams-Ellis, great nephew of Sir Clough Williams Ellis, the architect well known for designing the nearby Italianate village Portmerion.

Downstairs there is a master bedroom with its own shower room, a further twin and double bedroom share a bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen doubles as a dining room and the sitting room boasts a limed oak floor and wood-burning stove in the inglenook fireplace.

Situated close to the seaside town of Criccieth and its magnificent castle, stay here and you’ll be spoilt for excellent places to eat, although you’ll also find the mouth-watering local produce irresistible. Just as a taster of what’s in store, you’ll find a welcome hamper containing local fare when you arrive.
