Situated in the flourishing market town of Newcastle Emlyn, in the heart of the Teifi Valley, you'll discover The Maker's Mark. Under the roof of this lovely Georgian building, the work of over 70 local artists and craftsmen is displayed – including original paintings, etchings, batiks, cards, prints, ceramics, wood and glass work, jewellery and sculpture. An amazingly diverse and exciting range of disciplines, many by Wales' leading craftsmen.
The Maker's Mark was founded by Narda Mantle in 1998, with the help of Prince's Trust funding, as a direct response to demand for a professional and permanent venue to showcase the wealth of creativity being produced in the hills of west Wales. It provides an alternative to high-street mass production and has earned the reputation as 'the place' to go for unique gifts and cards.
