A diminutive shop in Llandeilo’s main shopping street, Heavenly never the less manages to pack a feast of temptations into its Aladdin’s cave of a premises.

Lovers of high-quality chocolates make the pilgrimage from far and wide to buy from an amazing range of confectionary that includes some of the best regarded makers in the world, such as Venchi, Kschocolat, Rococo and Santander.

The delight doesn’t end there. Heavenly’s own ice creams are made from Welsh organic milk and cream, and the flavourings (which range from the classic to peanut butter and Mississippi Mud Pie) use local produce whenever possible. On top of all this there is an excellent collection of 'old-favourite' sweets such as coconut mushrooms, cherry lips and candy shrimps. Who could possibly resist?
