Tucked away down a quiet country lane, just minutes from the bustling market town of Bala, you'll discover the rustic charms of Stable Nook. This luxurious accommodation manages the neat trick of being deceptively spacious and airy internally whilst still feeling indulgently cosy. With four centuries of history as a former stable under its belt, this striking stone cottage is surrounded in all directions by rolling hills and montains, not to mention its six acres of grounds. All of the cottage's generously sized rooms are fitted to the highest standards, with crisp bed linen and soft fluffy towels provided.  There is also a fully equipped country kitchen in which to prepare some high-quality local produce. Alternatively, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

After a day exploring the delightful surroundings, whether on foot, bicycle or white-water raft, Stable Nook is the perfect place in which to relax. Kick back on a soft leather sofa with a glass of wine in hand, perhaps watching a DVD on the 42" plasma TV.  And those fine summer evenings can be spent on the patio and deck area complete with barbecue.  For something even more relaxing, an aromatherapy massage can be arranged.
